Hi,

many of my colleagues that work in autocad are missing (in archicad) the function of environment, which allows you to differently select objects when you are moving your mouse - when you make the marquee area from left to right and vice versa. You can select all objects that the marquee area touches or just objects that are fully in.

My question is - is it possible to load an add-on that is active during the work in archicad so you could use it that way?

No, you can't change this behaviour through the API. The arrow tool can switch between these options though (change selection methods).
