    <description>Under Windows, with version 9 and earlier, you can use the ODBC driver in the developer download area to access some content of the project database.  This is purely a database interface, and so can be used with any programming platform or at the user level with a database such as Access.&lt;BR /&gt;

I've been away for a few weeks, so perhaps it has changed, but as of last month the ODBC driver for 10 had not been posted yet.&lt;BR /&gt;
&lt;BR /&gt;
If you are thinking in terms of accessing AC as an automation server, no, that is not possible.  A C++ add-on must be created to accomplish the goal or to provide the communication with an external program.&lt;BR /&gt;
