Hi friends,

I am new to API development, i have good experience of c++ programming. can any one help me writing some small programmes. then i will experiment the things.

is there any training or books available, i am located in Australia.

please help me..

There is woefully little documentation available. It's pretty much just what comes in the DevKit and what you can find on the forum.

The best you can do is to study the example add-ons that come with the DevKit

...also, do browse this forum. There are is a 'sticky' topic at the top of the list on getting started with the devkit:

and there have been other new users asking questions over the years. Those threads and the docs may help you get started.

The key is to study each example provided with the kit to understand the structure and interface of cross-platform add-ons.
