Alive as I see ... but not very frequented.

I suppose that we are all under Nautilus NDA, so will start a user point of view discussion:

As one of the most important news will be PlotMaker integration into ArchiCAD, how do the GDL/API gurus see the playing field now? GDL in PlotMaker was a loooong standing wish; now it is a reality.

Hm?

I for one could use smart APIs for version/revision tracking, schedules, paper spending (three rolls per day last two weeks ...) ... anything else?

Mmmm... GDL/API/PlotMaker/ArchiCAD integration: this should mean I will have jobs/plug-ins to do for the rest of my life!

Yes, I think this has been quiet because we were waiting for the NDA's to be signed. I didn't receive any word that they were received back in Budapest, but will assume it is all taken care of now and that we can proceed.

I'm at a very busy period for the next month, so may not participate as actively as I had planned for a little while.

Well, there has been very little communication out of Budapest for some time now. Things were more active before, and so I thought this forum would be appropriate to have. Apparently we got organized a little too soon.

I met Viktor Varkonyi for the first time in Las Vegas last week. He indicated that an alpha version of 10 will be available in the next month or two. Perhaps it will make more sense to wake this forum up again then. 😉

one of the main reason because I love you is your optimism!
Of course any thing will depend on the people who will receive this demo…
I hope that if I won’t receive this demo as Third Party Developer at least I will receive it as Distributor if not… at least as Beta Tester, if not… at least as someone who is working “around” ArchiCAD from about 14 years… last but not least… maybe I will receive it because I’m friend of you!!!

Sorry, I really don’t want to be pessimistic but the poor results of this forum so strongly wanted by you (and, once again, this is one of you numerous values!) made me really sad.

Do you remember those movies by Antonioni or by Bergmann about what they called “incommunicability”… this looks like a forum about incommunicability!!!
