Window Schedule Scale

I am using a schedule to show window types in elevation view. When I set the scale to 1/4" (in this case), the views are changed to 1/4". However, when I put the view on a layout it changes to a different scale. I have "Redefined with Current Settings" in the tab, but it reverts back to a different scale. Bottom line is, the scale function in the schedule preview seems glitchy. Is there something I am missing? Have others had success with this feature?

I think I figured it out. I overlooked that the view settings for the schedule in the layout needs to be at the same scale as the schedule preview.
