topic Nested Hotlinked Module Data Reporting as Undefined in Schedules in Project data & BIM

We created a nested module scenario, which for the most part is working fine, until it comes to the schedules.

We have created a kitchen layout module, which is placed as a hotlink in the unit plan. The unit plan is then placed as a hotlink into the building model.

The issue is that the schedules report the requested data that resides in the nested module as undefined.

All the modules were exported from the main model, so the Property Manager data should be in alignment.

(For comparison, IF the kitchen elements were part of the unit plan, then the schedules would report the expected data.)

We were really hopeful to be able to use nested modules. But we have exhausted our troubleshooting ideas…

Regards,

Joe A.

(ArchiCAD since 8.0)

Operating system used: Mac Apple Silicon Sonoma 14.3.1

Solved!

We discovered a duplicate Classification System in Property Manager which was causing a conflict. We reduced it down to MasterFormat only, which alleviated the issue.

Regards,

Joe A.
