Why is my hotlink layer italicised?

I always use HLM...today I did the usual, made an assembly, linked it in

I realised the master layer was wrong and went to change it...but the HLM settings say selected but not editable. It is not linked, on its home storey, etc...not sure whether someone slipped something into the water.

Operating system used: Windows

This is what happens when you let others into your workspace...and dear friends add locking to layer combos

I NEVER LOCK LAYERS

If I want something locked, I lock it for good reason

Always work by focus and only expose elements that you want to work on...vs

my dear friend who layer locks EVERYTHING

So sorry for the false alarm...over 20 years on HLM and never used locked layers...

Good ole tool tips on for a minute and all fixed...in case anyone else suffers siltation
