The US version apparently changed the names of these they roughly equate to Basic 9US=Novice, Standard 9=Standard and Standard 9 US=Expert. The standard 9 US will give you everything (or just about) showing up in the menus, including the modify walls feature.

When we installed AC 9 US, we get Basic 9 US, Standard 9 & Standard 9 US as the available work environments. What happened to Novice, Standard, Expert? and how do these defaults relate to the more obviously named ones, if at all.

I have looked, but haven't found a response to this yet.
nothing in any book either, we just get standard, basic, etc.

I am trying to load expert profile to see how the tools differ, but no luck yet...

I am specifically after the 'modify walls' add-on under the 'expert' profile, which I am not given the option to load.

Yes, the names changes several times during testing. I would recommend taking the time to develop the layout most productive to the way you work, and not use a preset. After doing this you can save each scheme with an appropriate name so that as you refine each scheme you can delete the old name and rename it as before so the main profile will stay set. You can save different profiles for different job types if needed. This is a great feature and worth exploring.

I agree. We used the Standard 9 US (expert) as a starting point and then modified as needed for each user. Very nice feature. Although it is overwhelming for some of the novice users in the office.
