One last note on this, when I printed the Entire Layout Book to file and then emailed it to the architect, he was able to print my entire set at once and never new the diffence that they did not come from AutoCad since I used his pen set and printed everything in color. We have never been able to do that before, with any other program we have tried our drawings never worked quite right for archtects. They would just have us send translucent prints to copy.

So far, ArchiCad 8.1 is our perfect solution!

I get most architects asking if I can send plot files instead of .dwg files. Obviously they are easier to plot and take up less space for emailing.

Can Plotmaker save AutoCad plotfiles??

Yes it can. When you set to plot, there is an option to save the file, just remember to use an HPGL plotter like the HP 650c

Yes it would. Another thing PM can make a plt that has all pages in one file just make sure that you plot them individually

Thanks ej, that is what I did, I plotted the layout book to file, and then each layout individually so they can let me know which they prefer.
