Customized Toolbar and Patches!

Everytime I update with new patch, my customized toolbar and other valuable preferences get wiped out...

Anyway to preserve these settings?

Hey Powdered,

I may not be completely tracking on your problem here, and not certain if your running on PC or Mac, or what ver you are driving (maybe add this to your signature)...............but the attached folder .GIF shows where your keyboard prefs and such are located. I had to copy and paste these from the AC 8.1 folder into the 8.2 folder to get mine back.

Check the file sizes in both folders and see if they match. If not give the copy+paste a try. In the future, if your preferences are heavily modified like mine are I actually save a copy to disc somewhere to make sure I won't loose them permanently. The voice of experience............

I am almost positive it is. Yet, after updated 8.1 last week, I went ahead and rebuilt everything before soliticing help. I have yet to update the remaining systems in the office and will try out the tip you've offered on them. I'll be sure to let you know what comes of it. Thanks again.
