Thanks for the heads up. Actually, you can select Walls and then add Fills as a further choice, and only wall type fills will show in the choices, including composites. If you choose Fills as the main criteria, then Fills as a sub-choice, only 2D fills show. Works just as I wanted. &lt;IMG src="https://community.graphisoft.com/legacyfs/online/emojis/icon_smile.gif" style="display : inline;" /&gt;&lt;BR /&gt;

      <description>&lt;DIV class="actalk-migrated-content"&gt;&lt;T&gt;There are many criteria by which one can search in the Find &amp;amp; Select dialogue box. One that is missing is Composite. I want to change one particular composite in my model. I could use the Attribute Manager, but F&amp;amp;S would often be much quicker and is more powerful, in that it can be combined with other criteria, such as layer.&lt;/T&gt;&lt;/DIV&gt;</description>

the 'composite' can be set from the "Fill" criteria:&lt;BR /&gt;
&lt;BR /&gt;
choose to select from "All Types" and use just the one criteria: "Fill". select your composite in there. that ought to do it, no?&lt;BR /&gt;

i suggested using "All Types" because i obviously didn't know what your composite was - you could've been using it for slabs and roofs as well . . . &lt;BR /&gt;
&lt;BR /&gt;
find and select is a pretty powerful tool  . . .&lt;BR /&gt;
