how do i manage the attribute manager regarding the layer, if one of them is dwg.

What is it that you want to do exactly!

Please try to put more information into your questions. The help menu in ArchiCAD is also very good.

i am trying to ask how does this attribute manager work, in what area and what way? May be not clear, because i have not tries yet, but what it provided is for changing layer, pen, lines and so on, and overwrite.... So what is the exact meaning of this tool?

The Attribute Mamager is meant for importing and exporting settings from one PLN file to another. If you make a bunch of materials, then want to access them from another PLN, you would the Attribute Manager,
