Measured Area in Zones

Hello!

I am having a problem displaying the area in the zone stamp.
When I add a window or door to a room, the mesured area shows just the area of the wall recesses.
only if I uncheck the options in project preferences can I get the measured area of the room. (but without the recesses)
Obviously, I would like to include the recessed area to the rooms area as well.

any ideas ?

I remember this was a problem in ArchiCAD 11 or so. Is your library up-to-date?

thank you for answering.
Yes, library and AC is up to date.
I also have just the original library loaded.
hhmm... don't know where else to look.
