Hello everyone,

I am working on a quantity takeoff for a building and would like to create the most comprehensive schedule possible for walls with a complex profile. The goal is to separately quantify the upper band, the main wall, and the baseboard (see photo). As shown in the image, I would like these measurements to account for the openings created by the frames.

So far, I have been able to retrieve the volume of each component, but not their length or surface area. Have I missed any fields? Otherwise, I was wondering if it is possible to integrate fields that allow calculations between schedule elements (e.g., volume / (height + width))? I would like to avoid exporting to Excel for these calculations.

Thank you for your help!

You can add your vote to the wish for calculation fields in schedules here:

https://community.graphisoft.com/t5/Wishlist/Calculations-and-formulas-in-Schedules/idi-p/604451

Some calcs can be done as property expressions that are then included in the schedule.
