is there by any chance that the zone limit could follow the perimeter of the niche created with the standard window object?

You can try to check here:

Options > Project Preferences > Zone Preferences.

There is an option to include or not recess

Hi @extrasystole

Although you can check how the zone preferences work, as @Matteods mentioned, you can always be more accurate by using the manual polyline construction method to draw your zone when needed.

Hi all and thanks for the replies.

I knew already the two settings, I meant if there could be something in the GDL script that prevent the zone to be extended to the entire niche and not only constraint to the width of the window.

The project is an hotel building, meaning that I have to make multiple zone for >50 rooms. They are always the same on this side, but they change on the other side, so I find useful to use the autoupdate.
