Classification update

Is there any way to update classification system?

I want to update Uniclass to current version. While importing in Classification Manager, Archicad append it instead of replacing.

Operating system used: Windows 11

I think that the only solution is a python script.

I have just 'kind of' overcome it by changing these values in new classification version xml to match the old one:

that allowed me to replace old classification in Classification Manager while importing

then I changed back the version and date to new one in Archicad

Seems that works. Classifications are still linked to elements and attributes like building materials (didn't need to assigned them manually).

I think the risk in this method is that there might be some leftovers form previous version - codes that were withdrawn in new one. Python script could check it.
