I agree. I think this would make a good UI wish. Copying the style but not the size would be really helpful. Personally, I'd like an option to either have (or not) a pop-up like the attached which is from Adobe Lightroom Classic when doing a pickup (eye-dropper) operation... to easily see what is going to be transferred and quickly change it as needed.

[Lightroom calls their operation Copy Settings and Paste Settings ... but it is more or less analogous to our eyedropper/syringe.]

Hi mates !

I was trying to inject the parameters of the white cabinet ( white front panel + black knobs ) into the red cabinet without making it change its build or dimensions. I tried transfer settings and excluding everything except classifications and custom properties, but that didn't do the trick for me !

Hopefully there could be a way to handle this !

Thanks

I checked the Element Transfer settings, but I do not see the main sizes as settings that you could be excluded from parameter transfer.

Nothing like consistency.

With windows and doors you can ignore the size.
Not so with objects.

There is actually a new wish about Parameter Transfer settings, although it is about attributes transfer.
You guys can vote in that wish and also add you related wishes to the topic:

https://community.graphisoft.com/t5/Wishes-forum/Element-Transfer-Settings-to-include-attributes/td-p/225754?f=32&t=74399
