It could be that your zone layer has been turned off.

You should always create a view for your schedule in the view map, and make sure it has the correct layer combination that turns the zone layer on.

If the zone is not showing, the window does not know what zone it belongs to.

i have a schedule to report related zone for me so i can calculate if a area have enough glazed area and ventilation area.

i am not sure if i did something wrong or not.

sometimes the related zone cells are blank.

maybe after i save or update hotlinks.

my solution for this problem is keep delete zones and redraw it until it pop out again.

it is really annoying to do so.

can someone help me out from this suffering.

From my experience, the Related Zones are inconsistent. As Barry noted, the view must be available, and even then it can be wonky. Another issue is it can pick up or leave out elements (like windows and doors) in other stories when you have non-conventional story heights, as I often have in my projects.

My ‘work around’ is to create a grouping property for the elements and objects I need to schedule. Since the property is manually set, I do have to QC the results before publishing. However, the assignment typically doesn’t change often enough to be a burden.

Zone height needs to be checked too as, if height of zone is 0, zone information goes missing.
