Ive also found the schedules in 29 have at random stopped responding to any input on two separate projects, despite them working just fine before. Most recently, this seems to have started after saving a schedule as a view and placing it on a layout. All schedules in the project are affected though.

Can you also try something: before generating the Schedule, can you make all layers visible and unlocked? See if that makes any difference? (Just guessing here.)

If not:

What if you change the Data Type of those Properties to "Option Set", and just try to select the values from the Option Set in the Schedule? Does that work?
