Window surfaces go missing after reindexing

Hallo,
We've migrated a big project from 27 to 29. We're still using 27 libraries. Apart from an attribute nightmare I am now experiencing the following problem:

I am reindexing a texture "_L1.2 gevelkozijn" from index 14 to index 11002.

As a result all Windows loose the assigned texture and I have to manually set it up again.

The walls are unlocked, their layer is unlocked, I have also reserved everthing, also during reindexing I get no error warnings (which do appear if something is not accessible)

I thought Reindexing automatically relinks all elements in the project.

Any ideas?

Re-indexing should work as you expect.

Any element that was using index 14 should now be using index 11002.

I am not sure but, if you are using hotlink modules, you will probably also need to re-index the original hotlink source file as well.

And if it is a teamwork file I would probably save it out as a PLN and then re-share afterwards.

i usually avoid re-indexing in the middle of a job, however if i've needed to i've had success with duplicating the surface and reindex as desired. then i delete the original surface and replace with the new. this seems to work all the time, and will also update favourites, etc. as well.

I believe the bug here is with the specific Dutch variation of the Window/Door objects. Some of them manage to keep the surface, but most go to "MISSING" after reindexing.
