Try a portable harddisk that stays put on one place. I backup this way and have not had any problems. But don't start moving it... that's just when accidents happen...

<R>Hellow all,
I like to know which are the best options to archiving Archicad Drawing or project documents in this latest digital world. CD-Rom and DVD are the most popular tool for archiving before, What about now???

Following Options for Archiving which I can think of at the moment:

1. CD-Rom & DVD, wear out in 8 - 10 years times!!
2. Flash drive or USB (how big are the size at the moment?? and cost compare with DVD??? )...
3. Portible Drive (over 500GB), but could be risky and easily get damaged!!!
4. Get Computer Techinician to store Data in their company through net work?? is this safe???
5. hmm....what's more???

Please advise on Archiving options!!!

Much thanks
