AC10-1176 Silent Install Problem

Hi,

i tried to install the AC10-1176 Patch Silent over an Archicad Version 1010 as decribed in

http://www.archicadwiki.com/TechNotes/ArchiCAD_Hotfix_in_Silent_Mode

I tried this in an Dos box:
"AC10-1176.exe -W play.auto=yes -silent"

No Error occured and no Logfile is written ???
Also i couldn´t found an Autoupdate.log or similar on the system.

I seems to me that an error permits the Installation. But if i install the Patch manually everything works fine..

I need the Silent Installation because we use Archicad in an large enviroment where it is impossible to install the patch manually..

Please Help!

You have to have the full path of the installer in the Run: command line, with the -W play.auto=YES extension. You will have sg. like this (in my example, the 1183 Hotfix installer is on the desktop):

"C:\Documents and Settings\gkmethy\Desktop\AC10-1183.exe" -W play.auto=YES

Note that the path is between double quotes, there is a space after it, and there is a second space after the -W parameter. You don't need anything like the -silent parameter
