What is ZONE NAME used for?

Linking openings to zone | GRAPHISOFT GDL Center

It is called ZONE NAME here.
No matter what, it doesn't appear.
No value either. where will you use it?
After looking for a while, I tried everything called ZONE.
It seems to be a Related Zone Name, is that correct?

If I'm right, please correct the documentation, if I'm wrong, please explain. ^^

Hi Lee Jae Young,

Where are you trying to view it.

I use them as Room Names, and the zone can generate information about floor areas and volumes of the room.

If you want to see it on your floor plans, you need to check the box in your model view options

And you can update the name in the zone selection settings.

Sorry, I should also say, you are correct, it is related to the Zone tool.

So you find this in the Design Tab > Architectural Tools > Zone
