<R>Hi all,

Is there some way to get around Zones in hotlinks being defined by <S></S>Name<E></E> rather than <S></S>Index<E></E>? One of the many inconsistencies within ArchiCAD... I have a several different hotlinks in a master file and if I want to change the name of one of the Zones, I am currently needing to go into each module and update the attributes as when you change the name of the Zone in the master, it will just append a copy of the previous Zones name to the end of the list...

I am not sure it is inconsistent.
The zone belongs to the module (hotlink).

If so, you have to open the module and edit there, the same if you want to edit anything in the module.

Changing anything in the master file will only affect the master file.
The modules will still bring in all their own elements and attributes.

The same if you wanted to change a layer name in the master.
The modules would still bring in the old layer name as far as I know.
