Some time ago had to make floor and wall area calculations for a tender. I used Zones for the purpose and found out they could be calculated in the 2D window only, which meant I had to do it story by story. Probably it's the same with Zones update.

Update All Zones - multiple stories?

I must be missing something subtle with the Update Zones (all) command.

In a test file, it is only updating the zones on the active story. I cannot seem to find a way to update all zones on all stories. I thought I'd just go into 3D, turn on zone visibility and issue the command there - but it is actually grayed out (disabled) in 3D.

Am I just having (another ) senior moment? Or is it not possible to update all zones on all stories?

Thanks!
Old Man Karl

Thanks, Kliment. I have to wonder what people building tall commercial buildings do? Certainly they don't navigate through every story issuing the Update command one floor at a time? If so, then I guess it is time for a "wish"... <E>😉</E>
I guess they'd update zones in their MODULE and it would distribute to all floors...
