Clear Change and revision log

I have a building I want to recycle onto a new project. Anyone know the best way to clear the change and issue data to reset layouts etc?

I think this should be relatively easy and fast:

1. Go to Layout Book Settings Dialog.
2. Reopen Last Issue.
3. Delete Last Issue.
4. Repeat steps 2. and 3. until all Issues are deleted.
5. Click OK to accept changes.
6. Select all Changes in Change Manager and Delete them.

That should handle it for you.

Lazlo,

I can confirm the instructions above work and I will bear them in mind for any future repeat projects.

Yesterday I ended up MERGEing the old project into a new file which went smoothly and forced me to update a few things which may develop the file's resilience for future updates. It is an option I have never tried so I was pleased with the result.

Thought I would post what I did in case someone else has a similar predicament.

Hi Lazlo

Is there a way to re-assign changes to revisions and then revisions to issues? I have a client that got the workflow wrong and in trying to fix the corresponding flow from changes > revisions > issues, actually managed to get it even more mixed up.

I will appreciate any advice or workflow you can suggest to achieve this on a live project.
