topic Ability to 'hide' Hotlink modules in Project data & BIM

<T>I understand the need to adjust layer visibility of modules with the layers of the rest of the model but sometimes I would like the option also to hide hotlinked modules on a 'per module' basis, saving the positioning data of the modules but turning the visibility on or off temporarily without breaking the link to the source file.

One example where this would be useful is a site model i have with numerous new buildings which are hotlinked in to it. To speed up working on the site model it would be advantageous to be able to hide all or some of the hotlinked buildings.</T>

Please ask questions in a normal forum before making a wish (which is for things that definitely cannot be done or could be improved)...

You need to set a 'master layer' for each hotlinked module. The master layer will do exactly as you want... turn the entire module on or off... and otherwise, if on, the elements in the module respond to their individual layers.
