<T>HI all
Is anyone having this problem. I am importing modules of 3 different types of buildings into a site file (host file) as Hotlinked modules; some of the modules are rotated, and some are mirrored.
Whenever I revise the modules and the update their hotlinks some (but not all) move from their required position on the site. Have asked Archicad Support but they can' t seem to resolve the problem.
Most frustrating especially if I have to reposition the modules every time!!!

Yours Might go back to using Archicad10 instead.
M Smith (if that is indeed your real name )

It seems you're not the omly one having problems with modules moving in one way or another.

Read this thread also (heights rather than positioning, but might be related).

Thanks to Dave Tauer at GSUS techsupport and the guys in Budapest for the solution to this. It was happening to me and they were on it. Here's the fix:

1) Start from scratch by deleting your modules
2) Re-HotLink your modules
3) Drag, mirror, rotate, elevate into position

...BUT...

4) MOST IMPORTANTLY--Do not undo at ANY time during the process. If you mess up, fix it by conventional means. Just don't ever undo during the module positioning process. That seems to be the catalyst for the shifts. Once I did the method here, they have stayed put.

I've got a problem that seems related. I' working in a project that's mostly 2D (Don't ask). As part of a floor plan, I've imported (dragged in) a PDF file (vector info, existing special walls).
Then I've created views of this floor plan and placed on layouts.

Yesterday I reopened this project after a couple of weeks, to do some revisions. Now, I find the pdf is re-scaled and moved on the floor plan - completely off position.

But, the layout still looks good! That is, in the placed view on teh layout, the PDF has retained its position and scaling. It also prints fine. It's just that when I'm in the work environmen in the floor plan, it's off. I sort of work blindfolded there!

Despite this I made the deadline and showed up at a meeting with good-looking printouts. But this must be a bug! Anyone?
This is REALLY weird.
When I open the project again this morning, the PDF is back in its original position in the florr plan too! What's happening?
