Erika, I did what you sugested, it doesn't work, thanks

Lazslo, I don't have any insulation or anything, I don't want to add more elements to the floor plan, thanks

Thomas, does SEO works involving hotlink modules and elements not included in the module? because when I pick the place elements, it picks all the elements of the module, is this right?

What I did was I suspended the groups of the module, selected the walls as the target elements and the columns (which weren't in the module) as operator elements.

Lots of the columns are now "blended" with the walls in the other elevations, but I still have some that I can't make them "blend"
I did dierent ways but it still with out blending,

This is making me crazy!

Look at the picture, what would you do?
Thanks

<T>I am working in a 10 story condominium project which are 4 condos per floor (al the same type) and I decided to create a hotlink module of an individual condo and placed the modules in each of the stories.

But the problem comes when I placed structural columns on each story and I didn't want them to be in the source file because the columns were going to change dimensions as the building gains height.

The problem itself is in the elevations and section views because tthe columns doesn't "blend" with the rest of the walls.

I am including a picture for you to see,

I hope someone can help me with this problem

Thanks!</T>

It's a bit hard to tell from the picture, but my guess is that it has to do with intersection priorities.

I went over the floor plan and deleted the columns and the problem was fixed.
It looks like I will have to place the columns in the source floor plan of the hotlink module, but that is not what I want because as I said before, the columns are going to change dimensions every 3 stories and then my hotlink modules are going to be a mess, is there a way to place the columns over the modules and correct this problem?
I will send 2 pictures, one with the column and the other turning the column layer off and you will see how the column shows in the floor plan and in the elevation I previously attached,
Thank you for helping me.

To resolve this, think it through how it will be built. In the real world, a wall and a column will not occupy the same space, although they can in the virtual world.

When you decide which portions of each condo's wall(s) are part of the module, take into consideration where these structural (concrete?) columns will be.

In the second picture, if the column layer had a different intersection number than the walls, then when you have a view that has the columns not showing, they won't leave a gap in the wall.
I tend to use SEO to fix this situation. Have you tried that?

Sho nuff as somebody wrote.
He wants to rationalize his drawings. I'm trying to help. SEO won't fix the floor plan, but should make the elevations all right. Your tip will fix the floor plan, I thought.

Don't you have insulation or plaster or something on the exterior side of Walls?
That would solve the whole thing in elevations.
