Freeze layers by selection + then update layer combination

Hi,

I've got an Xref (external drawing) which I need to tidy up for my drawing. The layers have very long and complicated names so it's quite difficult for me to find them in the layers list. I am trying to update my layer combination so these layers are frozen.

Is it possible to:

a) click on a layer and freeze it?
b) get a layer combination to adopt the current layer state without me having to find each individual layer and freezing it in the layer manager?

Did you already use Quick Layers ?
Windows/Palette/Quick Layers

Yes, I already have Quick Layers open. But can I achieve what I mentioned in my original post using this palette?

To archieve you are able to :
- open your layers windows and save your layer combination : https://helpcenter.graphisoft.com/user-guide/64843/
- right clic on you view and update it with current layer parameters
