topic "ghosting" or reducing opacity of layers (FROM IMPORTD FILE) in Project data & BIM

<T>will AC allow me to select certain layers (that might contain alot of elements) and gray it out?

for example. on my site plan, i want to show all of the site lines and the subject residence at 100%, but all other houses (that will be on a different layer) to show at like 50%.

ACTUALLY HERE IS WHAT I WOULD LIKE TO DO::::

lets see if i can explain this.

i want one site plan that i can keep current in a file by itself that i can then import into other files.

so, that when the site plan is imported into AAA file, i can gray out all houses but AAA. then the same site plan can be imported into BBB file with all houses but the BBB residence grayed out.

lol....make sense?

thanks in advance.</T>
