topic layer not unlocking in Project data & BIM

layer not unlocking

hi all,
I'm trying to unlock a layer on a section. no matter what i do, unlock all layers, single layer etc, as soon as i pan/zoom select anything it reverts back to locked.
I've never had this before and its a bit confusing. anyone have any ideas?

I have had some quirky layer behavior now and then. As a test you could move its contents to another layer and delete the troublesome one (working on a copy of course). If that fixes it you will have to reset your layer combos.

seems to be happening more often then not at the moment

Ussually when I have strange layer behaviour, it's related to having the complex Profile Manager open.

Try closing that.
