<T>I'm experimentin with AC 13, and i have a question on the new feature of exploding dwg with keeping the original layers.
I like the new feature that places the new layers at the bottom of the layers list. but i do not understand why it is impossible to delete them.
The delete button is grayed, why?</T>

Hi Achille,

It seems that when you delete the dwg source file the xref layers become locked.

Curiously, our friend Patricia Leão posted yesterday the solution for this on our portuguese blog. You can find it <S></S>here<E></E>.

Interesting... allthough i did not delete the dwg file, i just selected "Keep drawing primitives only" when i exploded the dwg.

Anyway i deleted the layer through the attribute manager, but i think there should be the option of the simple and plain delete through the layers tab.

Agreed. That would be more productive.
