    <description>Read in the Help about Virtual Trace, Trace and Reference, etc.  It is all there.  You will want the Trace &amp;amp; Reference palette open for easiest use - just click the upper left button to turn the reference off.&lt;BR /&gt;

      <title>Turning Off the Reference Layer back in the plan view</title>

While in Layout Editor, I clicked "Open source view with layout as reference"  &lt;BR /&gt;
IT WORKED! &lt;BR /&gt;
So how do I turn if off? &lt;BR /&gt;
&lt;BR /&gt;
And why is there not a single word about this in the help menu, or on line? &lt;BR /&gt;
&lt;BR /&gt;
I know it can be turned off because it disappeared  as if by magic. I certainly have no idea what I did to turn it off.&lt;BR /&gt;
&lt;BR /&gt;
2007 iMac 24 the terrible,  ArchiCAD 11 latest updates, of course. &lt;BR /&gt;
