    <description>Turn on the 'Arrange Elements' toolbar. There is a button on there that locks whatever you have selected. The same function is found in the menus under 'Edit'&amp;gt;'Locking'. &lt;BR /&gt;
 &lt;BR /&gt;
You could even lock the layer that the reference is on. Click the little padlock next to the layer name in the layer settings dialog box. &lt;BR /&gt;

If you were using trace and reference you wouldn't have to lock anything as it is designed not to be selectable! &lt;IMG src="https://community.graphisoft.com/legacyfs/online/emojis/icon_biggrin.gif" style="display : inline;" /&gt;</description>

      <description>I have shortcut keys to be able to quickly lock and unlock elements while working.</description>
