<R>Hi all,
I am trying to save my project as a dwg file. I can save the floor plans one by one correctly. Then i want to merge them in a file.
When i do this i can't use ctrl+c and ctrl+v (copy/paste) command because of the same block name in plans. Then i use the "insert>external reference" command to place the drawings in autocad. i am using "bind" command to completely merge these drawings in the same file. Everything is okey until this step. Then when i want to change something on this drawing i have to explode each floor plan. When i explode it, all dimensions' extension lines getting bigger and dimension styles changes then reading the plan is getting very difficult.
How can i merge them by without problem.?
I save the plans from layout but it doesn't export floor plans' layers. It is only transferring layout's layers.
You know we must distribute the projects to other engineering disciplines. It is a big problem for me and others.</R>

Hi ogabson,
have you tried to change the extension line of the Dimension style that Autocad uses? Its a simple procedure but it must be done inside Autocad.
