Wall Intersections of hidden walls show up...

I've been working on remodeling jobs.... I like to have the existing condition on one or several layers that I can hide.... This allows for demo drawing, etc.s and is nice for before and after 3D views. I have noticed the walls on hidden layers are effecting visible walls. I end up with gaps in the visible walls created at intersections with the hidden walls....

Any ideas on fixing this problem?

Sounds like an intersection priority issue. Make sure that the layers that should not interact with other layers have a different priority number. Also be sure and update the layer combination. See

quite a nice effect is to also turn your 'existing' layers 3D status from solid to 'wireframe' in the layers dialogue . . .

good for some presentation.
