<T>Is there a method for adding extensions to a group of layers rather than one at a time?

TIA</T>

I don't think it is currently possible.
It would be nice though.

Also is it possible to hide layers not in use from view in layer manager and toggle them on/off when needed? Remodel jobs and commercial jobs require layers that I don't wish to negotiate all the time when doing residential work... I don't do enough Remodel/commercial to warrant a separate template file..

The closest thing to it is the "funnel" (upper right corner of menu) , which works by extension... it only shows layers with the selected extension.... it's not perfect, but may help a little.
