topic Wall/Floor Conflicts with hidden layers in Project data & BIM

<T>I am having ghosting issues with hidden layers on walls in plan view and with floors and roofs in hidden view.
I have tried to move the walls/floors within the stack, but that only helps for one layer combination.
What am I missing here?
I am trying to do a demolition plan and a proposed plan.
I have created different composites for Existing walls, Walls to be Removed and Proposed Walls and assign those to individual layers. Differing combinations of such will give Exisitng conditions (Demo Plan) and Proposed Plan.

Tired of scratching my head!</T>

Sounds like Intersection Priorities in layer settings for your various layer combinations. Discussed elsewhere (several times) in the forum, here for instance...<LINK_TEXT text="http://archicad-talk.graphisoft.com/vie ... rity#42641">http://archicad-talk.graphisoft.com/viewtopic.php?p=42641&highlight=layer+priority#42641</LINK_TEXT>
in short, layers with same priority number will react with each other, change number of hidden layer to stop intersection effect (then update layer combo)

Intersection Priorities are great....I usually usine 1 for existing...2 for new and 3 for demolition...it seems to work out well for us...
