Freeze-ups in 8.1

Happy new year to all,

Since I've installed v8.1 I've noticed that the cursor freezes up, for example, when I open the layers menu, or open a settings box for one of the tools. I don't recall this happening before.

Anybody else experiencing this ???

Yup !

Actually I'm beginning to wonder if my WIBU dongle can't handle having ACv7, v8 and v8.1 on the same drive, or is that not possible.

I also have 6.5 ... 😉

No problem there; check your video driver and the settings!

Thanks, Djordje, that did the trick. For some reason my ATI driver doesn't approve of enabling "write combining", whatever that means !

By the way, How do you manage to keep us all in order, with the time difference between Dubai and North America ??
