topic Detail Tool in Project data & BIM

<T>Just a couple of questions

What causes the boundry line in the source file to dissapear?
I created details on a floor plan, the marker shows up but the dash line indicating the boundries of the detail do not show up. I've checked layer set up, line type and line color. Did I missed anything?

If I re-build the sourtce file, the dimensions in the detail drawing dissapear, unless I place them as static dimensions. Is this the right way to do it.
You are on the right track....Check the display options...there is a setting to show the detail boundary...but don't get to happy about it...detail boundaries still don't print...you'll have to fake it with some linework...

The detail tool will convert whatever is inside your boundary to 2d lines, so if you make changes, you will need to rebuild from source.
