I think you are looking for the "Edit Selection Set" command. It's in the Edit menu (naturally) and there is also a button for it in the info palette. BTW it is also possible to change the primary pen setting for different element types.</description>

      <description>&lt;DIV class="actalk-migrated-content"&gt;&lt;T&gt;It seems that unless I hide the layer I want the objects moved to, they don't move at all.  It helps to hide the layer anyway so I can see that each group of items does in fact move, but do I need to??  Also, why doesn't everything selected move with one layer name selection, rather than a group of items at a time??  It would be nice to move an entire floor plan to one layer with one move rather than many.  Am I all wet and just a slacker for not reading and understanding the tutorial??  Lack of time......&lt;BR /&gt;
