<T>Does anyone have a list of the National Cad Standards Layers? We have a list from awhile ago and we're not sure if some layers names were added to it or if it's untouched. I know you can add to it yourself but was wondering if anyone had a 'fresh, untouched list'?

Thanks,
The US Departmet of Defense has adopted the AEC CADD Standard, based upon the National CAD Standard. The AEC Standard actually references the NCS, so the two are very closly ties together. Here's the website, where you can download the entire manual for FREE!

<LINK_TEXT text="http://tsc.wes.army.mil/products/standa ... /intro.asp">http://tsc.wes.army.mil/products/standards/aec/intro.asp</LINK_TEXT>

This CAD standard is very complete and contains charts on all of the layering standards, colors, lineweights, etc. Of course it's DWG/DGN based, but it might help you ArchiCAD'rs..... (See? We Revit users can be helpful, too!)

Thanks Karl,
I think this is a good start if it's a complete set of layers names. I'll have a closer look.

Thanks again,
