problem with BimX

hey everyone,

after i had installed the ArchiCAD 17, the add on manager in Archicad tells me there is an 'error while checking the environment' for BimX. And so the add-on doesnt work... i don't have options to save model from 3D window for BimX

Can anyone help??

Dear Nebojsa,

Probably the BIMx Add-On is not properly installed on your computer, so we need more details to investigate the issue further.
Do you use a full or a trial version of ArchiCAD 17? Which language version of ArchiCAD do you have? Could you please attach a screenshot about the Add-On Manager that shows the Add-On info as well?

Hi,

Could you please check if there's a BIMx_Export_Log.txt file in your Documents folder (e.g. C:\Users\username\Documents)?
If yes, please attach it.

I'm having the same problem -- what was the solution proposed by Graphisoft to you? Did it help? Google finds nothing on this matter...

GRAPHISOFT BIMx desktop can be run from ArchiCAD 17 with a valid license only.
