The app is a standalone Mac application. It cannot be opened on an iPad.

you know me Karl...typical "guy" mentality..I don't read anything. Try to "figure it out" as I go along....but I'll read it now.

Also I understand you can save the file out to a *.bimx format where that one you can download and open via email.

The FILE menu has 4 save options as shown in the attached image.

BIMx format is not a self executing file.
You need either the BIMx application on your portable device or the BIMx application that comes with Archicad 15 to open it on any Mac or Window PC.

The Mac and Windows save formats are stand alone self executing files that can only be run on the type of machine they were saved for.
No Archicad or BIMx applications required.
What version of Archicad are you using?
Since version 17 BIMx has been built into Archicad so no extra license is needed.
If you can start Archicad you should be able to save as BIMx.
Before that you had to purchase a separate license that was tied to a particular Codemeter/Wibu key license.

I don't use Codemeter borrowed licenses so I can not check the problem.
Maybe someone else that does use a borrowed license can check it out.
