Bimx does not work on Mac?

I have been using Bimx on ipad and deskto PC for about a year now with good results. I just switched from PC to Mac. When I go to open the Bimx application I just get the message "Bimx quit unexpectedly". What's up?

BIMx viewer works fine for me. Is that what you're launching? (Applications > Graphisoft > BIMx Viewer > BIMx)

I could ask you to share your Console logs here, but it would probably be easier and faster for you to just phone US tech support and have them walk through the issue with you.

I guess it's the Bimx viewer, for me there is only one choice that says "Bimx". When I save as Bimx while in archicad it launches the viewer as usual. But when I click on a saved Bimx file to open it, or if I just go to open the app then I just get the same error message.
