I know you can set it up on the desktop viewer/editor. I don't know if it 'sticks' to the iOS viewer afterwards.

Or maybe it is a hidden tribute to Zoolander?

Yes, I need to make it at least 3 times bigger than this.

I tried saving a couple of new BIMx models (with the correct height set in the desktop viewer) and they all revert to a diminutive stature on the iPad.

Anyone know if the Pro (paid version) has the functionality to adjust camera ht.?

I think it just uses a completely different engine under the hood. Other than opening the BIMx file, there is very little common ground between the mobile and dekstop apps.

From our tall dutch perspective it is even worse

And it is a reverse zoolander, just scale your model down 3 times for it to look good in BIMx mobile

As mentioned above i know you can open a bimx on desktop and re-save it after adjusting the head height (or other parameters such as lighting etc), i know that this saved file displays correctly once opened again on a desktop
not sure about mobile devices

If the Bimx doesnt retain the information saved into it, how are we supposed to give our files to our clients and expect them to view our files as they were intended?

there really needs to be more control on previewing the bimx on desktop and direct compatibility and uniform functionality between different devices.

I.e. why cant i view hyper models on a pc? only on mobile device?

Height can be adjusted in the device settings.

bimx-application-settings-on-mobile-devices

Not perfect. Given a choice of:
- Lower
- Low
- Default
- High
- Higher

No way of knowing the elevation of these choices or how to set the default.

It seems the value of "Default" is hardcoded into BIMx application on iPad and is unrelated to the export camera height (even though you start at your camera height in flight mode, but you immediately drop down to "Default" as soon as you activate virtual joystick).

If we want to know exact values, we can, potentially, make a vertically graduated ruler object in AC, export it to BIMx and walk right to it on iPad. Changing the height setting in iPad Settings will show you what hardcoded "High" "Higher" "Low" "Lower" values are.

They come out to be 1,2m 1,4m 1,6m 1,8m and 2,0m respectively.
With 1,6m height being the "Default".
