Hi Guillaume,

There is no option to export the BIMx Walk-through clips to video file format by default. We added this request to our wishlist database.

Hello, is there an update on this ?
Showed my first BIMX model to our Client. He loves it and would like to post a walkt through Video on his webside. The webside only supports a *.AVI
Format.

Why not use screen capture software? Camtasia, Camstudio, Screenflow or similar?

I tried Camtasia (on a Windows PC). It did not work.
Looks like Camtasia can't record a BIM Sesssion (recorded Screen is just black) 😞 .

I have no problem recording BIMx session on my Mac. I use Screenflow (OSX only). Might be due to video overlay or compatibility with the GPU.

I finally got what I wanted. Used FRAPS - A free Screen capturing Software that is mainly used by Gamers 🙂

Hi there, I have created a BimX model with a walkthrough included (i created the fly through in archicad and included it when I exported the model to Bimx), I have no problem viewing this in the BimX viewer, however I wondered if anyone knew a way to record this sequence when playing in BimX, the record function seems to be deactivated when the sequence is playing. I have also tried to use screen capture software and it just recorded a black screen. Any suggestions would be appreciated. Thanks!
