Yes it works, I have placed rug textures on slabs (needing Align Texture to properly fill the slab face) for BIMx output.

I have a problem about coordinating texture on my wall, slab or ...
for example I need a photo covering a wall thoroughly ! but I couldn't change mapping either for rendering nor BIMx .
thanks
hamedkassaei

Get the exact values for the width and height of your wall.

Edit the material that has your texture/photo... with the Internal Engine settings, set the width and height to be exactly the numbers obtained for your wall. Switch to LightWorks and click the 'match to internal..." button those dimensions through for a LW render.

You may (or may not) need to use the Align Texture in 3D command if applying the material to the wall does not align it perfectly as desired. Typically just click the lower left corner of the wall with this command to set the texture origin and the mapping should be what you want - in OpenGL and LW.

I've not tested BIMx with a material whose alignment has been changed, so don't know if the re-aligned material will carry through to BIMx...

Cheers,
