AC 27 bimx export of 3d view - global illumination gone?

In AC 27 exporting BIMx from Publisher, tick box for "generate global illumination for Realistic shading" is gone when setting options of a 3D view to export. Only options left are Model background and Texture size limit.

What happened?

That checkbox in Archicad 25 and earlier has no effect on BIMx for a while. Therefore, we removed it from Archicad 26.

Instead of precalculated Global Illumination (which could slow down the publishing for hours), BIMx uses a modern real-time rendering. We added many BIMx export-related improvements to Archicad 26, please read more details in this article, and see this for a visual comparison. Since then, shadows and accurate sun positioning with dynamic skybox have further enhanced BIMx's visual quality.
